Do Not Drink … Gamble!
May 11th, 2025 by Elsa

If you enjoy having a a beer occasionally, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever money you anticipate to spend on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You can have a profit after a inebriated evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Keep that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously drink and gamble. These activities just do not mix.

Keeping your moolah out of the casino is a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive measures for dramatic actions is required. If you gamble to profit, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to toss away your assets without a worry, then drink all the no charge booze you can handle, but don’t take credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your bombed brain throws away everything!

Allow me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on the web to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my condominium, however considering that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.

How come? Even though I don’t drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely adequate to cloud my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. The two mix up for a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
